Flavourite was my graduation project of the University of Applied Sciences (HvA).
The goal of my research was to create an interactive application that would teach kids how to cook using their mother’s/father’s way of cooking.
During this project i’ve analyzed the problem, did multiple research on the users and their problems with the use of observations and interviews and based on these findings i created a concept.
The final product of my research was an interactive prototype of an application that allows users to write down recipes and use them to create those recipes. In the application users can add recipes with a visual representation of the ingredients and other items they’ll need. After that the users can take notes of how to make the recipe step by step and add photo, video or audio to each step. This allows them to write down the recipe while the parents explain it to them. Thanks to this way of collecting recipes the users create a cook instruction in a way they understand and with the visual support they need during the cooking process. With this concept kids learn how to cook and create good memories about cooking.
